An autumn picture of a Golden eagle. I followed this eagle for a number of years, in December 2007 it was hit by a train while eating from a dead reindeer. The eagle became thirteen years old.
My name is Conny Lundström and I am working as a nature photographer in the province of Västerbotten in the north of Sweden.
About 20 years ago, I began developing my interest in photographing; at the beginning an interest of a more general nature.
I took photographs of nature, which has always fascinated me, but also images of big cities etc. Fairly soon I focused exclusively on nature photographing, with emphasis on wild animals.
During the last fifteen years I have been photographing in a nature reserve and its surroundings in the north of Sweden. My main object is the golden eagle.
I work on my own, feeding eagles from October through May, which gives me the opportunity to plan my photographing in detail. Visit my website www.connylundstrom.com
